STEAM version at all?

Did you install manually or via module manager?

Do me a quick favour and just try renaming your saved games / DCS folder to saved games / DCS1 then restart.

With that... also go into logs (in saved games / dcs / logs) and seek out your "crash" and log files... there can be some interesting tidbits in there.

How much RAM are you running? and is everything you're running, with regard to DCS, consistently As Administrator or not... did you install As Administrator?

There should also be a "crash" file- same place you grabbed those other two.

Still seeing that direct x (dx I'm assuming is direct x) error to load a texture. Did you load the redist for dx9 when you installed?

Try this...

Hey Sam

I purchased the A-10c & FC3 from Steam and by default Steam installs DCS World & modules on your computer. each time i lunched DCSW i had a different error.

the solution was to uninstall steam version, clean reg and do a fresh install from ED site : download World and FC3 - enter serial and i hope this will end your problem

good luck:yes:

Okay... couple things-

I'm wondering how you actually installed the modules- you said you uninstalled the STEAM version and installed the ED version- did you rename the DCS folder after you did that? If not, do it.

Have you actually installed the modules or did you just download them in hopes they would pick up automatically?

I wonder if this is somehow related to the 'factory.lua' crash problem?

Yeah I thought about that but totally different presentation. Just in case though:

Try this Sam

Also Sam I remember that audio failure too. Do you have current audio drivers?
