When I was young I was a highend trim carpenter working on multi million dollar homes. My boss told me one day - you want your work to look great but not just to the homeowner but when another great trim carpenter sees it. Someone who really knows the effort it takes to create high quality work.

I am now a texture artist working in 3D for a studio. Working in an entirely different field from games.

I can see the amount of love and dedication your texture artist has put into this. Beyond anything else in DCS. Great work! Very impressive.

Looks awesome.

Would look even better with some shine effects on the external cockpit glass. Sort of looks like the pilot is sitting out in the open.

Good stuff!

Once we release a "clean" skin you can use blending modes (multiply) to easily colour the aircraft.

I think when I was making skins for AC that didn't have templates, one of the "Burn" methods worked the best when painting over the stock paint.

Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2),

ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9)

3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs

Any chance for layered psd paintkit? Clean skin is OK, but actual kit is less hassle and more control over the paint. :)

Eventually, but the PSDs will require clean-up and some form of consolidation before that can happen. A few hundred layers at 4K grinds my machine to a halt -- and I'm on an i7 + 16GB ram. :)
