F-86F Free Track Temp. Fix

Recommended Posts

Fixed it.

Go to the

\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircrafts\TF-51D\Input\TF-51D\headtracker

folder and copy the default.ini file found there. Then go to

\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircrafts\F-86\Input\F-86F\headtracker

and paste the copied file, replacing the older default.ini file.

Thanks to Skate for the idea.

No need a fix from ED. Solution from Skate & remon is ultimate. :)

ED removed "function layout()" and "end" lines from all input lua files with v1.2.8 release.

But there're these lines in only headtracker default.lua of F-18F Sabre.

I'm sure Belsimtek will remove those with next patch.

Hello!

I'm trying to enable Freetrack 2.1.2.264 too in DCS World for all planes. I don't have the P-51 nor the F-86. I only have the stock planes and Flaming Cliffs 3.

Is there a way I may apply Remon's solution files for all planes?

Thank you

Yes, probably it will work.

You can even take that file from SU-25T's headtracker folder.

Let's do this:

Go to "..\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Su-25T\Input\su-25T\headtracker\" folder and copy default.lua file.

Now, go and paste (and overwrite) it into "..\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\F-86\Input\F-86F\headtracker\" folder.

Oh sorry Redbat, I completely missed the point. My bad...

You don't need this page. You should just install the headtracker.dll (download link) into "..\DCS World\bin\" folder. That's it.

Hi Devrim! :)

Well, I did just that. I pasted the file headtracker.dll into "..\DCS World\bin\" folder, but still doesn't works.

I even tried disabling the mouse inputs for the views in the options panel.

It appears to be an impossible task to get this to work in DCS World. I've read other posts and sometimes they were not very clear, or dedicated to a special aircraft. I just would like to know how others have their freetrack working properly...

Thank you very much
