airea Posted March 10, 2006 Share Posted March 10, 2006 As we all know, 1.2 would have clickable cockpit, but it seems a little difficult to click some buttons with a mouse during the mumbo-jumbo a flight. I saw this touch sensitive technology on the net. http://mrl.nyu.edu/~jhan/ftirtouch/ This technology also enables multy touchs as I can figure out. What if ED makes future projects compatible with touch sensitive monitors? Instead of trying to click with a mouse, you directly touch the buttons with your fingers, you can slide some rules, etc. I guess this new technology can increase the immersion a lot...
