You approach looked more to be big swings with high speed that let you get a position of higher altitude that the F4 couldn't keep up with. Well played.

And don't forget that you need to DRIVE all of those extra pixels so you would need a TITAN or similar to run it... And I know folks will say SLI, but SLI is not currently supported in DCS so I would REALLY recommend waiting until EDGE comes out and then making the decision on whether 4k makes sense or no.. How important would you say that refresh rate is? I believe I'm running on a 60 Hz monitor right now and I'm having no problems with that. What I'm trying to ask is...Is it worth looking for a monitor with higher refresh rate? Does it improve the experience?

Maybe i should get a better display then Actually, in both Il-2 '46 and the whole LOMAC / DCS series I find it much easier to spot and track planes and even ground targets at low resolutions like 1024x768 or even 800x600. I could have flown Il-2 at 1600x1200 easily, but I never did just because of the "dots". I hope that EDGE will improve the general visiblity more to what it is done like in BoS. I think they got it quite well.
