DCS: F-15C 4 Kills, Multiplayer Sortie

Recommended Posts

Hey all I'm Aurora, nice to meet ya

This video is from my second day of player vs player combat in the F15C, I was quite excited about the results of this sortie and wanted to record it.

I'm sure there are much better pilots out there with even more kills in one flight but for now im just glad I got this much, Let me know what you think and thanks for watching.

Nice video, I haven't touched the F-15 lately and find it strange it smokes like a F-86 now, is it a mod, or something new?

If DCS is turning into a DCA (Arcade), I just have to stop and wait until something better turns up....

Smoke?

Yes, I guess they overdid the smoke to kind of "even the balance"

What balance, did they put in a link16 into the F-15???

What balance? Is a rendering issue.

How did they make MiG-15bis not smoking then, a 'rendering' issue that too?

they overdid the smoke

sure they did, f-15c makes too much smoke and mig-29 makes too little/weak smokes in the sim :book:

however it's very easy to edit/correct in PlaneConst.lua (smokiness_level) but then you will unable to join in some online servers which check the integrity of PlaneConst.lua file

so it must be corrected by ED in the next patches

while in real life: (compare these) :D

That Mig-29UB has just started to roll, without afterburner. Not fair ;)

Besides, it really is render issue. My F-15C is not smoking, unless I'm changing throttle position to higher.

Nvidia GTX 550Ti here.

Maybe ED don't care because it's fixed with EDGE.
