TH Warthog + MFD profile for MiG-21

Btw.

I started to do virtual keyboard profile for Thrustmaster Warthog + 2 MFDs Cougar. It will work togheter with MiG-21bis of LS. I used some of combination for many advanced avionics.

 

Here example one push in joystick button (gear only ;>):

 

 

And (still in WIP) for MFD profiles with MiG21 style new layers (grouped for one "sim+avionics", second for "weapons and radar" and grouped by colour too). For printers for sure:

 

 

Is there any programm which automatically describes names of buttons from Warthog Throttle and Joystick direclty from TARGET (something like this: http://spare-time-pilots.de/Gamefiles/Tools/Profile/HOTAS_Warthog_for_BlackShark.jpg) ?

The waiting time before release one of the button, is this specific? Or if this a try and error test ... i need something simular for my X52Pro HOTAS (hopefully) mid September.

In MiG-21 of LS it isnt only "G". You must unlock switch, pull lever to down, back lever to neutral position, put lock switch again. Not easy do it manually in short time. Here a reason :].

Yes, i saw this in some videos, but the release time [32ms, 100ms and soon] is this specific? Say you need to hold G-Key for 32ms...for short time, DCS will not register the key.

Yes, sametimes its important to have special sequence of automatic key-press.

 

Some of keys must be push as "long button" (for example launch a missile) The time is min. 2000 ms.

I changed a background and it looks like this now. Only one MFD is finished + whole TH Warthog (layout from Target as pdf: https://www.sendspace.com/file/5nb6lv , wip).

 

 

 

In beta isnt work 3K as buttons and no effect of Helmet Visor but I hope it will be in 18.09 :).

Yes, for sure it will works only with TH Warthog but all must be checked after the release.

Thanks for this. I will probably adapt it for Helios, instead of hooking up my MFD's, but it is still much appreciated. :thumbup:

If you have seen videos where those items were displayed then there was a display of some type installed behind the MFD's. All YoYo is making is a 'label' for the button assignments. The TM MFD's have a slot built into them for that purpose.

Ok, here my profile for TH Warthog + 2x Thrustmaster MFD's. For sure, if You have only TH Warthog You can use it only for joystick and throttle.

Note: in this version of MiG21 (1.2.10) its a bug, discribed by me here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=130406

so add manually "U" for landing lights off, I hope it will be solved. Till now no keys for 3K NPP too. I will wait for this too.

btw. not checked all functions after release but it works with beta without any problem. On the grey knob of Throttle - You can change a weapon. Many automatic functions like for gears, chute ect. Always before start to fly on MiG-21 please change postion on Throttle for default (off switches).

No, no, it works with TARGET only software ( http://ts.thrustmaster.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=1&fid=3&pid=311&cid=5 ), so You must fire TARGET>DCS W next.

For me - part of soft simply "must have" :).

You can use 2 or 3 position switeches too.

For anyone interested, here is the Target tmc file created by YoYo's fcf file. It's handy if you are like me and prefer to work with the script file (which target hides when you use the GUI).

 

It is messy since TM never intended intended for anyone to edit it. The GUI also produces all MapKey functions as if IOUMD layers were used, even if they aren't.

 

EDIT: Btw, this is where Target hides the script file. C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\Thrustmaster\TARGET\Scripts
