TH Warthog + MFD profile for MiG-21

wow i feel dumb no idea how to use that profile with target software lol

 

I link a new profile in target to this profile you made and hit fly now well says script is running but buttons dont work according to profile in the controls menu in dcs? Sorry im so dumb with this ive always did the profiles in game

Though it's great that Target makes those diagrams for you, they just make them too small and hard to read (for my old eyes at least). So I whipped up some slightly more eye friendly diagrams for YoYo's profile. This is just the throttle and stick because the inserts he made cover the MFDs just fine.

 

I just copied the comments from his pdf but any spelling mistakes are probably mine.

 

EDIT: Btw, do we really want this thread buried in Bug Reports?

It worked fine when I ran the profile from the GUI. However, I did not have Target start DCS. Try using just the Run button and then start DCS separately.

Did anyone already figure out how to correctly map the throttle afterburner range on the Warthog?

 

I'd like to use the physical "bump" on the throttle to delimit MIL & afterburner range, but I don't know exactly how to approach the issue. TARGET is an option, maybe there's a config file, maybe I'm dumb and missed the obvious :D

 

Anyone got that figured out ?

Thanks. No big deal really. The pictures were stolen from the internet. I made a template with just pictures, arrows and no text, about two years ago, and just edited in your text. It was done in MS Visio.

 

I have a set of these for most of the aircraft I fly.

I disconnected my TM MFD's when I began to run Helios for the A10C so if you do go ahead and make a Helios profile for the Mig 21, I would appreciate if you would share it.

I plan on it, but no promises on time frame. Once I have a handle on what does what, in the cockpit, I can get started. My initial plan is going to function before form. So don't expect pretty. :)

Yeah, I would like to use the detent/gate as well. No idea if I need to do anything special to get there.

 

90% setup time - 10% what could loosely be called 'flying' :music_whistling:

Ok it's a bit dirty but setting the throttle to a slider with a 30% curve will do the trick.

Any idea what might be causing this? I have cleared all bindings on the options/controls and like I said all works just great except for these 2...

In the TM GUI, change the input from (I believe) pulse to hold.

I had implemented in my setup. I used your MFDcougar profile as wallpaper on my screens. I use this setup for DCSA10C, KA50 and Falcon BMS. It will be better if Helios would support Mig21 then I would have active gauges. Right now I have a active radar window.
