Hi,

I am interested in finding some good online coop missions for the A10C that are not difficult and that can be flown in single player as well so that I can get some experience flying the missions before doing them with other people. Can anyone help me out? I would prefer ones that are not too long and that start in a hot start or in the air. I would also prefer ones that don't need too many human pilots if possible.

Thanks for any help,

So far as flying a multiplayer mission solo, you can just fly it like normal, and limit the number of slots available and/or password protect your server when starting it up. Don't know off-hand any mission that meet your criteria, other than maybe Dragon's training missions.

Ok, im really confused now! I have a thread over at multiplayer inquiring about setting up my own server. The feedback was basically that there were none available for rent (much like the ones you rent for FPS games like BF3 etc), and I was provided with the substantial server specs needed to accomplish this. I may be misinterpreting your advise as you can simply create your own little server within your own gaming pc, and accomplish this without a dedicated server,, please clarify,, Id be very interested to know I could host on my own PC,,, thanks

I recommend you check out this thread for A-10 missions.

There are also many missions available for download from the User Files section of the website.

Some are payware, many are free. Currently 72 single player missions listed and 34 multiplayer for the A-10C.

You can setup your own computer to host a multiplayer mission. The details on how to do that are in the User Guide pages 238 - 250. You do need to ensure your host computer is accessible from the internet so you may need to update your firewall rules to allow the connections.

Post any questions to the forums and someone will help you out.

Good luck.

The A-10C module comes packed with single and multiplayer missions. I find Hide-out an enjoyable SP and MP scenario. It is easy and it allows you to slowly pick up the hog again when you haven't played for months. :-)

( I play way to much ArmA and DCS. :joystick: )

Hi guys, resurrecting an old thread but wondering if the suggestions above still work in DCS 1.5.5. if you know of any other good easy co-op missions then I'd love t know. Also, can you edit the instant action missions by adding an extra client and running that as a co-op mission?

Check out my 'real world'

I totally love this mini-campaign, which works both SP and MP:

A-10C Mini Campaign: Operation Save Badger (SP & MP)

Regarding the instant action missions, you can find them in your DCS installation directory, typically:

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Missions\EN\QuickStart

Since your Windows user probably won't be allowed to write files in that directory, just copy them to your Saved Games\DCS\Missions folder and edit them however you like. Also, if you break them, you can simply copy the original file over and start from scratch.

just to make sure: does it still work in 1.5.5?

Sorry, can't tell. I haven't flown it in a long while. Anyone interested would either have to fly it or check the campaign's thread.

I know there were a lot of trigger problems with recent DCS versions, but I don't know whether this campaign was affected and/or Quirk still actively supports it. I just hope it works because it's damn great. ;)
