Captain Spears
On Tuesday I bought the F86 Sabre at a discounted price of $39.99, only to see it reduced further today to $11.99. I love what you guys do, and am happy, keen and eager to pay full price for these unmatched and remarkable simulations, but it feels like a bit of a low punch to discover I could have paid less today for an aircraft I haven't even flown yet! On the plus side - I am delighted I was able to purchase Black Shark 2 today, at such a great price - thank you for that. And I know at least my money is going towards sustaining this incredible platform.
txmtb
It's funny how that works. Bought a GPU on Amazon for $249, when I received it 2 days later I went to Amazon and the price was 189 (I was still charged 249). Nothing to be said I guess. Still happy with my purchase. Edit: And yes, I asked them for a refund. Could have went through the circle of returning it and then re-order etc... Tone71
I'm sure we all understand that sales and discounts happen, it's when they happen to such a relatively new module that it bothers those who rushed to buy it on release (as I did with the Sabre and many did with the Mi-8 ). There is a similar thread to this already but it was suddenly closed. I guess that means suck it up and get over it. :) Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i7-9700K @ 4.6GHz, Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (8GB VRAM) on 34" LG curved monitor @ 3440x1440, 32GB RAM, TrackIR 3 (with Vector Expansion), Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Pedals, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs. ED Team NineLine Posted September 13, 2014 ED Team Share Posted September 13, 2014 I guess that means suck it up and get over it. :) I wouldnt say it this bluntly... but sort of, most of us have been around ED long enough that they love their sales, they have them all the time ALL the time, I personally couldnt wait on a sale, I need stuff now, but if its that much of a problem, you need to wait for a sale... SkateZilla
Here's a a recommendation that seems to work for me and others in regards to sales. ED Season Sales resemble steam sales, So, the same logic applies in part to ED Season sales: Buying something during Season/Holiday Sale: Is the Game a Flash Sale: NO (Wait), YES (BUY) Is it the last day of the Sale: NO (WAIT), YES (Buy). Repeat. I'm not one to wait for sales, however, if you're on a budget or one of the people that like to wait for sales, then that applies, wait for the sale. I've bought stuff on steam package deals for $60+ (Multiple games in a pack), only for that same Pack to be $12.99 a few days later, it annoys the bejeevies out of me, but that's the reality of digital distribution, a sale/flash deal can pop up at any moment.
