Eihort
So, ejected, and was watching my recently departed aircraft head straight for the ground, nearly nose first, probably going somewhere around 700kph... Then it bounces off the ground in one piece, then a few more times, before coming to rest as a whole aircraft. Apparently the damage modeling is not being applied once you eject. No biggie but got some laughs out of me. The damage model appeared to work fine as long as I was actually in and flying the aircraft.

Flying Penguin
Will someone create their own mission with their option settings and try. It happened to me on the bomb training mission. Engine stopped during my aborted dive recovery, about to stall on, ejected, aircraft hits the ground and bounces. But for the life of me I can't make it happen in a custom mission. 1 Per Ardua Ad Aquarium :drink: Specs: Intel i7-9700K, GTX 2080TI, 32GB DDR4, ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E, Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.
-Rudel-
It means our training missions have left over option settings in place when Dolphin created the mission. Corrigan
I agree with that assessment. For example, the landing mission has labels forced, and no buildings in the city (nalchik?) next to the airfield. S-GERAT
I hit the ground at 400 km/h due a dismiss at take off and inmediately eject, and the plane lose the nose. one wing and caught on fire.. So seems realistic to me. Was during a training mission.

tekrc
isnt just when you eject. I was doing the grom mission, and once I used my missiles... I MAY have decided to try a gun run for all the good it would do... his mast caught me by the tail and started me flat spinning going forward at about 700kph. pilot blacked out, ended up landing in the water. was like this for about 3 minutes before I took the screenshot not my far main gear started to get pushed out of the wheel well. the gear door was still closed so it was a little strange. as the plane bobed up and down slowly, wheel would extend/retract a little Edited September 18, 2014 by tekrc
-Rudel-
Training mission? If so, read my message above.
