Su25T does not start after respawn

Hi,

in the Georgian oil war campaign some times after re spawning the new su25T i am in will remain at idle regardless of where i set the throttle. i can start/stop engines, rearm, but not get the engines spooled up for take off.

any one else have this issue?

other fun note:

-level fight auto piolt tends to "rock" back and forth uncontrolabbly some times.

-after leaving auto piolt, the stick will be stuck with a new "zero" location that can be very far off center.

I can't say anything about the campaign issue since I have never looked into them but for the AP there are some rules of thumb that you should know:

Do not engage Level-AP ( LALT-3 ) if not flying almost level yourself.

If you do not do so, it can take quite some time for the Frog to stabilize and track like an arrow.

The more take-off weight you have and the higher you fly the worse it gets.

2nd. What you describe as far off centre is actually your new neutral trim point and the reason why you end up having it in a rather stupid position can have a few causes, one of them would be that you disengaged Level-AP before it stabilized, thus you took a random spot where the stick just was when you hit LALT-9. Wait until the plane stabilizes and then disengage AP. Following the very first advise makes this more easy and quicker. Do not expect the Frog to stabilize in 3 seconds when you engage Level-AP with a 10° bank left and 8° downward pitch, it can take minutes and in some cases it just won't find the sweet spot and keeps on rocking. The error is the pilot, not the machine.

You also should/have to engage Level-AP after firing heavy and draggy Missiles ( Kh25/29/58 etc.. ), drop tanks or bombs etc.. Level-AP will retrim your plane level after each shot/drop.

The Su-25T is a very good flying machine once you had some stick time. It's also well worth every hour you spend on training and exercise as the Su-25T is the ONE AND ONLY Aircraft in the WHOLE WORLD OF DCS to do SEAD missions. No SEAD = no CHANCE for victory ... so every Su-25T pilot is welcome on most servers when they concentrate on taking out Patriots, SA-11/15/17 DogEarRadars etc.... and it is utmost fun to fly 30 min through the vallies in low level flight evading the F-15C's up high in the sky. Pop UP like 120-100km in front of the target if fighters allow, gain MAXIMUM altitude ( 7-8k meters ) and fire your Kh-58's from 85km away and then better dive dive dive and get away...turn around and proceed with another run towards whats left of the SAM site.... or keep low until that close that you can come around a corner from a vally, pop up 1km, aim FAST, shoot all you got and tureen 180° with chaff & flares and run run run. It real fun

Forget the TRIM with RCTRL and ,.-: its ONLY good for when your Flying Computer malfunctions/lost calibration and always rolls left or right, even when and actually even worse when in Level-AP, that's when I use LCTRL and , or - to level the plane. Do NOT use AP again if this happened, you have to land, repair and restart the electrics and wait 2-3min for the system to calibrate.

This often happens when you overdo it with the Frog, ala LEZ DO A LOOP with full wings.

it won't do it most of the time and you will stall or roll out at the top and exactly there you loose your AP. DO her gentle and she will reward you with a coming home, even if 1 engine is gone, half yur wing shredded and your gear...forget about the gear... she will belly land and bring you home safe if you treat her right ( gentle ). She really likes rudder when your Hydraulics are gone, the only way to get her level again after rolling in... you will find it out.
