tomcatter
Played tonight..., really good little mission. The atmosphere is very nice, and for my just flying the flight plan was so beautiful. Is a great navigation exercise, you must to flight tight the waypoints to find the ships, and once there you have to manage well your speed, position and eyeballs to make two quick attack runs, and use well your fuel if you want to land safe. This was my first Kh66 experience and I manage to damage two ships, it is a very nice weapon, fun to use and very direct, it makes you flight into the target all the way down. I really enjoyed it and helped my to learn some good things about the MIG and his systems. The F-5s didn´t show up, so if you want to make the mission more challenging on the air to air side, maybe you can add a pair of F-4 CAP patrols. So thank you, rep inbound. JorgeIII
Glad you like it, I corrected the F-5 Patrols, there was a problem with late activation, they didn't show up in the flight with our squadron neither. xentxo
Downloading ... Bingo fuel is defined as ... Climb to Cruise Level (from attack Area, here Convoy location) + Cruise to Home Field (here Adler) + Cruise to Alternate (would be Gudauta) + Reserve ( normaly 100km) So 600-900 litre cant be "Bingo Fuel" Edited September 28, 2014 by xentxo
JorgeIII
Well, definition of bingo fuel varies, basic concept is that it's the remaining fuel at which you should stop the operation and the return home, as specified in the flight plan. In this mission situation if you want bingo to be enough to cruise to alternate you will be under bingo fuel before taking off... Here Gudauta is an enemy base protected by AD and from where enemy patrols are operating, not an alternate. Hope you liked the mission. AKA TANGO-117. DCS Modules: ALL. xentxo
In reality pilots have good reasons to calculate bingo fuel with additional reserve fuel. Official F14 bingo fuel calculation requires 2000lb ( = 900kg = 1150litre = 20 minutes flighttime) reserve fuel. So far i see a refuel stop at adler requires appr. 20-30 minutes. In this period the convoy travells 3.5 km east. The additional time will not not jeopardise the mission objectives.

JorgeIII
I tried it, but no F-4 or F-5 patrols. I also opened miz file in editor and can't find those patrols there... The patrol group is hidden in mission editor and there is an error in random activation, will correct it later but you will find this missions much more interesting: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=139994 AKA TANGO-117.
