Rusty_M
Fleet Defender: The F-14 Tomcat Simulation, F-117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter 2.0, And B-17 Flying Fortress: The Mighty 8th are now available on Steam. Never thought I'd see Fleet Defender again. Almost tempted to get my nostalgia on. The world is going mad. Me? effte
All those did amazing things which have yet to be introduced into recent simulations. I have a horrible feeling they'll show their age though. jctrnacty
Microprose was my most favorite game developer i player almost everything from them. I remember that f-19 was my first sim that brought me to sim genre when i was 11. And then civilization , f-15, gunship, m1 tank platoon, acros the rhine, falcon , atac, silent service, and so on i can continue all day Big memories [sigpic][/sigpic] MB MSI x570 Prestige Creation, RYzen 9 3900X, 32 Gb Ram 3333MHz, cooler Dark rock PRO 4, eVGA 1080Ti, 32 inch BenQ 32011pt, saitek X52Pro, HP Reverb, win 10 64bit
empeck
I have F-117 from GOG.COM. It works flawlessly with my G940 - but with joystick only. Considering the throttle is digital in that sim it's not a problem.

Flagrum
Gunship! works well, as far as I could see so far. Only one problem: it does not reckognize my G940 correctly (throttle is mapped to cyclic X AND Y ... everything else seems not mapped at all) and I have no idea where I could tweak the configuration for that. cichlidfan
Fleet Defender runs (it appears to be running under DosBox) although it did not seem to recognize my Warthog. Flying with a keyboard does work, though. I couldn't spend much time with it as it was a bit painful to look at on a 40" TV. ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! It's crazy to remember how those were cutting-edge sims, it's amazing to see how far we've come I am still thinking how did you mean that "how far we've come"!? You mean like graphics (only) ? ;) I have also F117 from GOG and it works perfect on my Win7 64bit. Btw the DOSBox emulator is part of the game folder, so no need to run DB first then the game inside it. One exe do it all.
Roadrunner
Aww, no Mechwarrior 3? haha, that were GOOOOOOD times! anyway, i managed to use my saitek x52 with dosbox and strike commander, so it might work with those titles, aye? i also remember my logitech wingman extreme / thrustmaster Mk.II throttle back then. do you remember this north sea / north cap mission with that dragon in fleet defender? guess there had been one with an UFO too.
