My Windows "All Programs" , Start Menu does not have the DCS "Repair DCS World" utility under Eagle Dynamics for my modded copy of the original directory.

Happened again tonight with the 190 in the one-on-one dogfight sortie in Single Player. Couple bullet hits from the P-51 to the 190's canopy's front windshield made all three front windshield sections go orange.

 

I have never done a repair to my DCS World installation.

 

Is this the how-to utility you use to do a repair?

I think I need to only do a repair to the FW-190 module to solve this issue.

 

I did not run a DCSW repair. I kept my DCSW install I originally had.

 

Isolated the issue to this mod, concerning my problem:

I removed this mod ("disable selected mod" this item in my JSGME) and all is well.

 

Though, I do recommend using this mod to translate and ID the German language instruments until one feels comfortable with them.

If the mission is still 1.2.16? There was a change in the internal format of mission files in 1.5 so for a 1.2.16 mission to work with 1.5 the minimum is to resave the mission under 1.5. Mind you that will break it for 1.2.16 users.

Yea we are seeing a lot of crashes. Tried re-saving in the ME with no change. Trying different missions to see if that has any effect.

yeah... I'm not going to redo any of the missions quite yet - might make a new one shortly from scratch but the others will have to wait until all the scripts have been patched and stable. We have 19 missions in the roster .... way too much work to do them more than once. :P

Thanks, HH. We've been looking forward to EDGE for a very long time and overall I'm very impressed with what I've seen thus far. The performance improvements in MP open up a whole new chapter in our evolution and make the prospect of a true WWII environment even more exciting.

 

Hang in there, we will do our very best to get the server optimized in short order.

The answer is YES. DoW Server is in the Multiplayer server list and is currently using the most up-to-date 1.5 open beta.

 

UPDATE: However, I too am having difficulty finding it in the server list at the moment. I have no indication that the server is down but then I'm having some issues trying to figure out the new Multiplayer Server List ... thingy !!

I had moved from CT to TN and while I did have my

computer set up and could fly DCS missions, I had

not used teamspeak in many months. Last night

I downloaded TS3 and went on to the DOW Teamspeak

site and no one was in the lobby but there were a few

people in an area that I had never seen before..... as its

been a long time that I last spoke to anyone online I decided

to ask some questions. I was immediately BANNED from

the TS3 DOW site !!! For WHAT ?

 

Ive contributed money and have been a good non member

guest and feel that this person who banned me

must be either very young or not very patient

with the power He has to ban others for no reason.

 

I would appreciate some help in correcting this problem.

 

I did not have snag it set up to do a screen capture

so I copied and pasted the event.

No worries, man, we still like ya! That's not the IP of the DoW Teamspeak. If you go back a page on this thread, Whiplash updated our current IP address.

We don't have any member named "arcdaius". I do believe there is another gaming organization with the same name...and it seems you jumped on their TS server.

As for the game server status...Hopefully we will have it up and running again soon. Sorting out a few minor difficulties at the moment. 1.5 decided to give us trouble.

 

EDIT: Server is back up and running. I will try to keep an eye on it and attempt to get it back up after any crashes.

I don't think anyone here would do things that way at all.

Oddly, now that I DO have 1.5 installed, I don't see DoW in the Server List either.

 

BTW - It would be nice if we could sort the Server List by Ping (or whichever column we choose). I haven't been able to figure that one out at all. Makes for allot of scrolling and reading when all the servers are seemingly mixed willy-nilly !
