From the preview image I thought it would be a lot smaller, and I wonder if that would be more effective. Some other things, that gun on the big drones looks a bit like a 30mm cannon, which means that in this fantasy they have pretty fantastical one-hit one-kill ammunition. Then, there is the thing that none of the F-16 started? Unlikely. The drone starts up the radar and goes unnoticed? Similarly unlikely. Also, you wouldn't pack your planes or vehicles that tight and parking B-2's in the open, before you have them loaded and started? Come on. The most realistic one would be the last drone, as it is small enough to be deployed quickly and might actually be used as an assassination tool. The others? Too large and would be deteced and shot down by air defense before they'd inflict much damage, if the trucks themselves wouldn't be apprehended beforehand for driving into areas where they should not drive to. But in reality these aircrafts are very vulnerable - especially with 4 rotors and in this size. Maybe there would be a surprise effect, but someone would find a MANPAD and shoot this thing down from the sky, job done. Attacking a carrier with rockets without any issues?... never heard of Phalanx system and some other ships which always escort a carrier? It's reasonably small, packs enough firepower (but unlike the others, still in realistic amount), and utilizes stealthy optical sensors instead of radar. When used to deliver a surprise strike on high-value target without anti-air defenses (as showed in the video), it could probably work. Although I still wonder if there's no easier way of achieving the same result, and I don't see how is it better than current UAVs. About those truck-sized ones... Come on! While it's convenient that they come with civilian carriers (those Geneva Convention guys will surely love that... :mad:), if your enemy is that stupid to allow you to assemble and launch this monster in range of his airbase, without his air defenses shooting it down, then he probably deserved his fate. I mean, this thing is HUGE! Isn't one of UAV's main advantages its mobility and stealthiness? I think this one sort of defeats the purpose. If it's even technically possible to build such thing, that is. So luckily, this is either just an entertainment video, or its creator is slightly overtly optimistic. So much has been made and used for killing and these projects are always looked scary, some seemed unattainable in his time began but became realized ideas. As much as looked impossible, meaningless... this concept is easily achievable. How helpful? Someone has even the slightest damage inflicted to the opponent is successful mission.
