I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but it seems that the aircraft still has the "sounds" that they are still attached. The aircraft noses down immediately upon jettisoning them, which leads me to believe they no longer affect flight dynamics, at least with weight. However you can hear a whooshing sound in the F2 view, and the weapons view button points to their location on the Mig-21. The whoosing sound is especially weird when you have the canopy jettisoned. If I accelerate past mach 1, then decelerate to below mach 1, i hear a BANG. Now there is no longer the whooshing sound outside, and the weapons view no longer shows anything on the airplane.
