There is something weird going on with the MiG 21 activation. I have just reinstalled everything since my experiment with HTC Vive that didn't pan out and in just a couple of days it has deactivated itself 2 times!

I was playing with miracast on my phone. I turned on the Intel 530 on my motherboard as the Windows connect app requires an Intel Graphics card and a Intell wireless card in order to work.

 

The graphics were corrupted however, and I found a better option and disabled the IGP again.

 

So I lost one activation to enabling the IGP and one for disabling it. Only the 21 mind you. None of the other modules cared about any of this.

 

Can LNS maybe get the 21 in line with all the other modules. It's a bit extra ridiculous as it stands.

Should my Mig-21 Lic,key be in my DCS Profile along with the other modules? It's not there now,I was one of original kickstarter backers.Thanks for any info

Mine is saying I have a bad key. I reactivated with the key and it seemed fine said I only have 4 activations left. Now I can select the plane but when a mission loads it defaults to map view and I have no plane to control.

 

Edit: Before I reactivated it the game would let me fly it just not log me in. I only tried reactivation to get rid of the annoying message and be able to log in. Not a good idea I guess.

Worked in the morning but now :

 

"Unable to run the application due to integrity fault of the Activation Key. Re-enter a valid Activation Key or re-activate the application.

If the error recurs, click "Error report" and send the report to product technical suppor"

I ran the reg file from the 1st post and activated it but I think I lost around 3 activations , got only 1 left

I, too, lost activation. I thought that this is due to the fact that I found in an old computer external sound card, but not only at me such problems

I installed a Bluetooth Adapter (USB dongle) for some Headphones and... Mig21Bis asks for reactivation. ONLY Mig21Bis!

 

Please LNS... upgrade your StarForce License to the same version (fee?) as the others (other third parties and ED) because theirs work as expected.

 

 

I have also the log that that little program produces but I'm not sure is safe to post it here if inside it there are not Serials etc... it starts with some sort of serial.

 

Is not that I don't have activations left...but... :noexpression:

 

P.S. I know exactly that is because of this dongle because when I remove it from the PC I'm not asked anymore to reactivate.

Error Mig-21

 

Hello, I have the same problem as you with the Mig-21 Bis, I proceeded as sugged Rangi, this time it directly requests the activation key.

I don't know if I will keep the headset while I play, normally I fly with ear buds not this kind of over the ear headset. Also the Bluetooth adapter that triggers the problem is a 50 cents "Proudly Made in China" 10 years old one, I might change it with a newer one. What then? Activation error...

 

For now I will restart the game with the adapter unplugged. It's just an annoyance this so called copy protection LNS uses. I wish they upgrade it to the same one like the others.

Exactly the same here. An old USB Bluetooth Stick creates the activation problem, if I disconnect it Starforce doesn't say I have to activte, if it stays connected to the USB port Starforce says hardware changed.

Loosing one key after another because of broken activation system

 

Sadly, MiG-21 is the only module that kills one activation after another for nothing and with every update of DCS this seems to happen. Last error is that my key is wrong or no longer valid - same message as shown above - bu I am sure that I had still 5 activations left since I could re-activate it the last time.

 

I really would appreciate if Leatherneck could solve this issues the sooner the better. I am running DCS on only 2 machines - one fixed desktop PC at home and one on a Laptop as I would like to play it when I am on journeys and away from my home system, too. There I have the stable DCS version (1.5.5 actual) the Beta version and the Alpha 2.0. I have no problems with any module besides this one. And I am running out of activations very soon if this strange security checking system goes on this way. It seems that even the smallest change in the systems environment, like connecting the laptop to an external monitor or even DCS updates, kills another activation. Re-activating with always fixing the registry is not much help, because every time I'll loose another key.

 

This situation lasts now for several months if not since the MiG-21 module was sold the first time. So, please fix this finally. Shouldn't be so hard, isn't it?

New activation request after Win10 update here, I fix it with registry remove on first post but after several troubles, I have only 3 activations left !! I hope LN will fix it before we need rebuy the Mig21, or maybe they want it :)

I hope allthoug there is not the same with future LN's module !!

You won't have to rebuy as once you use your last activation you get another one in 30 days. At one stage Leatherneck granted us another 10 activations because of all the troubles, maybe it's time to do it again to celebrate the upcoming viggen. :music_whistling:

All new keys lined up were sent out.

 

Did you e-mail with the same e-mail you've registered here with?

 

EDIT: Found and replied. A couple were missed and corrected.

After not having this problem for quite a while, it now reappeared for me with todays update. Just reporting this, since it's no real issue for me, because I have enough activations left, thanks to the general restock a while ago.

I hope the new activation/licensing system comes soon.

This time something about Demo mode.
