Mig-21 or F-86

Don't forget you'll have the SU25T to play with fer nothin'.

I'd go for the Mig-21. You don't even need to have opponents to scare yourself to death. Try the mission where you use the RSBN system to get down through the clouds and back to base. Imagine doing that IRL after you've been flying a combat sortie and faced possible death.

Respect to Mig-Pilots!!

I got both of them. Thanks to the Steam sale I went from having nothing but the Su-25t and TF-P51D to all the modules except for the Dora, Huey, Bf-109 and Mi-8. That should hold me for awhile.

I've got a lot to learn but it's a great sim.

F-86 is definitely easy to start up and fly but it does have its challenges. Dogfighting with Mig-15s is not a walk in the park and air-to-ground weapons delivery (especially bombs) takes a lot of practice. It's rewarding though when you start to get the hang of it.

Must be MiG-21Bis!

I began to simulate flight course from 1992

Waiting can appear photo 6DOF cockpit high aerodynamic simulation and full system simulation of air combat simulation on computer.

MiG-21Bis is currently the only option, other do not say, at least he can have realistic landing, stall, spiral, transonic aerodynamic, but DCS from other aircraft, almost can't normal stall and spiral, at least I have never thought of spiral F-86 flew into the spin, this is inconceivable.

MiG-21Bis redefines the simulation degree DCS due, this for the development of other groups, is a severe adjustment, but for us, is a blessing.

MiG-21Bis is the best, I personally think that at least 2 years, there will be no other DCS can exceed it.

I think at the moment I prefer the F-86. The big issues though are that the gun smoke is currently a FPS killer and the MIG-15 is a bit of a UFO. The latter is easy to get around, just don't bother with the AI MiG until it's fixed, but it's still a loss.

The MiG-21 is a great module, but the plane is extremely CGI dependent. DCS currently does not simulate GCI or AWACS particularly well which leaves this plane with a problem in many situations. I've tried making a few missions for the plane, but without going through the trouble of scripting a good GCI most of them fall on their face. Maybe ironically, but that basically leaves the MiG-21 best suited in DCS to hunting F-86's. Basically, assume you've got an export MiG being flown by a smaller nation without CGI/AWACS and go hunting fighters WVR.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

I haven't flown these two planes since I got them, the MiG -21 is a lot tougher to get a handle on, I can fly it OK but I can't figure out how to turn the darn thing on the runway. Been doing a little off-roading with it, it gets stuck and blows up!

The F-86 reminds me of the Bridges at Toko Ri
