We have updated the OpenBeta 1.5 package to work around some 1.5 bugs.

The updated package can be downloaded here:

OpenBeta 1.5 F-15C BFT Campaign

Your mission key and password can be used to install these updated packages and your campaign progress will not be impacted as it is recorded in your logbook.

It appears the 1.5.1 may have introduced new bugs so we are testing against that version now and will provide more updates as the Beta unfolds.

SABRE - OUT!

Ok, must I uninstall current version?

Today I saw that takeoff and landing wrong direction bug has been reintroduced.

I think that ED will correct this soon.

It's best to run the uninstaller and then install the updated package.

Your campaign progress won't be impacted as it's stored in your logbook file.

Yes that issue has come back and we hope ED gets it settled soon. We can workaround it by changing the wind direction in the mission but we don't want to have to keep changing it back and forth with every game update.

The bug is the aircraft are taking off with the wind instead of against it.

Hello in BFT02 my wingman keep crashing into the truck while taxing to the runway to TO. Not sure if it's bug or am I doing something wrong?

Edit: My DCS version is: 1.5.1.46722 and I've already reinstalled Qualification Campaign - downloading the version from the link posted above.

We have problems again (new hotfix 1.5.1.47025.98 ), in mission 2, during taxi, the wingman collided with me while I waited for permission to enter the runway.

Can I report the bug to ED?

Hi Saber. As I understand this link https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1509604/

is only the phase 2 of 4. In other word The Basic Flight Training Qualification ( phase 2) of your program or it include the phase 3 Advanced Aircraft Training Fighter / Bomber Track Qualification and Phase 4 Tactical Training Qualification?

That's correct. Phase 3 and Phase 4 will be 2 other campaigns similar to what was done for the A-10C.

Phase 3 will be weapons systems training and ACM / BFM.

Phase 4 will be Tactical Training in a formal Operation. Missions types will include CAP, BARCAP, HAVCAP, TARCAP, RESCAP, SWEEP, INTERCEPT, ESCORT, RECON and BDA.

Hello, first post from me. I'm having the 'you've damaged the aircraft cadet' problem as soon as I start rolling on the 1st mission in DCS 1.5.1. I saw this was previously fixed in the 1.2 version by disabling the damage checks. It seems that they are active in 1.5.1 and I cannot get more than 20ft into the first taxi. I have the latest versions of DCS 1.5.1 and the basic flight qualification package downloaded 30th November (file name DCSWOBF15C_CMP01.V1.5)

Any ideas? Missions look great so I'd like to get past this first mission!

Thank you. Let me know if you need more information.

I'll have to retest it. Likely ED changed something in the latest game update.

Here was something we found in an earlier post:

I think I've found the issue:

I have my Gameplay Settings typically set to "Immortal" to avoid overall frustration. Well, get this -- when I disable that setting, and I am no longer immortal in the sim, *none* of the previously tested aircraft display the "YOUR AIRCRAFT IS DAMAGED!" status.

On the other hand, as soon as I enable the "Immortal" setting again, the "YOUR AIRCRAFT IS DAMAGED!" status message is back!

Please check your IMMORTAL flag setting in the Game options and try the mission with IMMORTAL turned off.

Looks like the bug still hasn't been fixed yet as reported here.

Great, thanks for the quick response. I confirm that the fix works in 1.5.1. I turned off immortality and completed the first training mission in 1 attempt. I imagine they'll get harder from here...

Thanks for the great missions. I always find that having some structure like this is the key to getting the most out of complex sims like DCS. Keep up the good work.

Both Release and Openbeta packages have been updated to add some more content and fix an annoying bug in BFT04.

Some users had indicated that BFT04 would not transition to the next mission even if they got a Q or Q- rating.

We couldn't reproduce the issue on our system but we did find an extra flag that we suspect caused the problem so we removed it.

Your mission key and password can be used to install these updated packages and your campaign progress will not be impacted as it is recorded in your logbook.

Hello I'm back.

I downloaded this new version.

Can I install in this folder:

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft

My DCS version is 1.5.2.49392.141

There are two different download packages for the current 2 different DCS World 1.5 releases:

DCS World 1.5

DCS World 1.5 OpenBeta

The packages are identical but the installers are setup to install to the appropriate path automatically. I recommend you use the OpenBeta package with the OpenBeta install and the 1.5 package for the 1.5 install.

We just completed our F-15C Amplified Checklist to accompany our F-15C Basic Flight Training Qualification Campaign.

You can download the updated campaign package which contains the new checklist here.

Once installed the checklist will be located in the following or similar directory path (depending on the directory chosen for installation):

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\F-15C\Doc

The checklist can also be accessed by the shortcut menu in the Start, All Programs, MapleFlagMissions, DCS World, DCS F-15C, Campaigns, Basic Flight Training Qualification folder.

Your mission key and password can be used to install this updated package and your campaign progress will not be impacted as it is recorded in your logbook.
