getFuel() does not return correct values for client aircraft in multiplayer

The official scripting docs describe the getFuel() method as follows:

 

returns relative amount of fuel (from 0.0 to 1.0) the unit has in its internal tanks. If there are additional fuel tanks the value may be greater than 1.0.

 

In multiplayer, this only works for the aircraft controlled by the host. For aircraft controlled by other players, it will return the fuel state that the aircraft initially spawned with.
