Gianky
Not really, I happen to remember that some time ago it was said that recording while compressing could creating some stuttering in game, since I had a couple of unusual instances where the game did just that, and I saw that Tacview was recording as zip, I wondered if that could be the reason behind the stuttering. It's even possible I recall incorrectly what was written. Thank you for your answer, BuzyBee, and since we're talking about compression: can old tracks be compressed via the program? If yes, how? Thank you in advance for your time!

netizensmith
HI, with Tacview (1.86) running about 15 minutes into my simple single playter mission my framerate drops to single digits, GPU goes to 100% and GPU fans full blast. Core temp of GPU is 86c, CPU is about 66c. I can reproduce this fairly consistently. Disabling tacview makes the problem go away. 32GB Ram, Ryzen 3600, Radeon 6800XT, SSD. Any tips on how I can stop it from crippling the game? Cheers. EDIT: I'm not 100% sure that it's even Tacview but I only had this problem since enabling it last week and after disabling it have been unable to reproduce it. I also noticed that with tacview on if I go into active pause my framerate immediately halves. unpausing returns it to previous framerate. I can toggle this and see it happening each time. Does not happen with tacview disabled. Edited April 12, 2022 by netizensmith

DCS should use the one which is installed most recently. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

I have made a small wiki page describing how to do so: https://tacview.fandom.com/wiki/Customize_object_colors You will want to customize the "Destroyed" color. Maybe to black instead of grey? norman99
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but my TacView clock is never matching the mission time, when using our squadron server. I can change the time offset, but the value I have to choose never makes any sense. What time does the .acmi file reference? In mission Zulu/Local? Or is it the actual time from the OS hosting the server, again Zulu or Local?

Optionally, you may change the time offset to match the time zone of the area where the mission is taking place. For example if you are flying the Caucasus map, put Time Offset -> UTC + 4 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
