Well when DCS World 2.0 is ready to the public and we are all enjoying it. I expect a lot of hands at ED that are free to start working on the FC3 series and we might see a acceleration in that bearing.

No matter what it would be very nice for them to finish the FC3 project.

The best news for me. Have to be the MIG 29 news. I really enjoy the other modules I spend money and time on. But the PFM MIG 29 I expect to be the most fun FC3 fighter to drive.

i'm no expert but i doubt it, the Su-27 is so unstable because of it's reversed aerodynamic center and center of gravity, which is something MiG doesn't have

Part of the trim issue is the shift in CoP with transonic speed. You can disable CAS on the F-15 and it flies like the Su-27 in many ways including heavy trim use and roll/yaw oscillations. I don't know how much trim the MiG may need, but you probably won't be able to ignore pitch trim. Also I think the MiG's thrust vector isn't totally straight, might just be in the lateral direction though.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

So mig-29 will need less trim but will still need it.

Better than Su-27.

One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats... Bugs with Superbugs, Tiffy's with Tornado's, Fulcrums with Flankers and Mirage with Rafales...

:)The Future of DCS is a bright one:)

So, according to the latest stream, the new 6DOF cockpit is complete. Finally, the signal lights will be in Russian instead of English.

I wonder if it'll be complete just in time for DCS 1.5 and EDGE.

Mig-29 is for me the best russian fighter. Light , fast multirole.

The MiG 29 6dof update might just be enough for me to switch back to flying modern jets in DCS. I must say, the Flanker is sexier, but the MiG 29 is fun as hell!

Was just reading the book How to Fly and Fight in the MiG-29 which is one of the books by Jane's "at the controls" series and found an interesting quote in the section about Close Combat.this a direct quote from the book "in a fast moving dogfight, many MiG-29 pilots fly with the missile trigger depressed,so that if the HMS or IRST locks onto a target as it flashes past, the missile will lock on and fire automatically." Is this modeled in the DCS FC3 MiG-29?if it is not ,will it be with the new MiG-29 PFM coming out?
