[REPORTED] Oxygen mask

I've noticed that in external view, you can't normally see pilot wearing oxygen mask. But try to zoom out view. Puff. Oxygen mask is there. Some "beta feature" to be fixed in the next update?

Still an issue in 2.5.4. Zooming out and in external view, mask is visible only from the distance. In near view, mask is not present.

Its a very old bug...I remember it.

How its present still? Looks like different LOD of the model.

Looks like this has been fixed. DCS/2.5.5.33184 stable

Noticed in the Grim Reapers Review video and did a short test in Nevada.

There was nothing in previous changelogs I think. So hope this is now fixed forever. Thanks for the silent support

PS: .lods and ‎other data in \CoreMods\aircraft\MiG-15bis\Shapes have been changed 6. ‎Juni ‎2019, ‏‎16:51:43 for me. Tells me, I haven't flown here for a while ;-)

Do we know what was causing this? I wonder if it is related to the splintering fractal rays emanating from the cockpit center after ejection? It happens on all aircraft I think, not after canopy jettison, only after ejection. It's kinda weird like a model leak or vertex problem.

 

Oh, I see the note about LODs. Thanks, still curious about the ejection issue.
