Hello,

Other little question but this time concerning the front light, is it normal that projector is not into the axis from the fuselage but lightly to the left side ?

Once again I join you a new screenshot:

Hi. That's interesting.

I don't have Mig-15, but I wonder, how does it aids to landing? Why is it made like that?

It's very strange. It is unbelievable that in real aircraft is like that. :-/

It makes some sense if you think of it as a landing light, not a taxing light.

Think about when you've just crossed the runway threshold and you're in a slightly nose up position and/or beginning to flare.

Having most of the light go straight forward is a bit wasteful as you can't look straight through your aircraft's nose to see the brightest part directly in front of the aircraft.

You can hower look to the sides and around the curve of the nose to get a view (or a better view) of the ground. In that context having the strongest part of the light offset makes sense as you can make use of it.

Hello guys,

I don't know if it's very visible but with these photos I have the sensation that the front light is a little bit to the left side as our Mig-15 of BST, no ?

I got my MiG-15 on the last sale and I just love it. I thought that this was a bug (I don't like that headlight pointing to the left and it still doesn't make to much sense to me) but OK, I can live with it.
