Drop Tanks

Is there anything we have to do in the cockpit at start up to make sure the plane is drawing fuel from any drop tanks we have?

Just a guess but I think the transfer pump has to be on.

 

Its in the routine for the start up procedure.

behind the flight stick, there is a switch for drop tank signal (don't know its function since no manual :)).

Thats for the light that tells you when the drop tanks empty, green one beside the gun lights.
