Assigning Engine Start Button Mig 21

Has anyone managed to assign the push button engine start to an external switch?

 

If so how have you done it?

Yes, I have mine bound to my Warthog. The action is called "Start Engine" and it is bound just like any other button/function as well. No real magic too it ;)

Hmm. Make sure you have the throttle unlocked and the fuel pumps on, else you can hold down the starter all day and nothing will happen ;)

From what's been posted on the forum, that's correct behaviour as the Mig21 has an engine driven pump, and the three pump switches are essentially booster pumps.
