Home Fries Posted December 16, 2020 Share Posted December 16, 2020 FWIW, I run a rig about the same age with the same processor and I have no problems with 2.5.6. I upgraded my graphics card to a 1060 a few years ago, and I have 16Gb of RAM, not 8. However, there is a definite upgrade path. The only downside I see is that DDR3 ram now costs more than DDR4 because of the lack of economies of scale.
