cheap charlie Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 I just backed up the wrong folder and installed the latest update and lost all my modules and settings however I did a System image back up before that and was able to restored everything Before I try again Can somebody point me to a thread that details exactly what folders I need to back up before installing the latest DCW update? Updater makes a backup folder in your main DCS directory (_backup.xxx) which contain all the files that didn't match what the updater expected to see. Updater also does not touch anything in C:\Users\[user]\Saved Games\DCS , which is where you should store most of your custom setttings and such. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
