SLI Windowed Performance

I have a second touchscreen setup to run Helios. I recently added a seconded video card. I found that in windowed mode with SLI on the performance is MUCH worse than what you obtain from a single video card. I did some poking around in the forums and it appears that this is a known issue with SLI in windowed mode.

Does anyone know if there has been any indication that this SLI issue will be addressed in DCS 2.0?

Win 10 64-bit, Intel Core i7-7700k@4.2GHz, MSI 1080Ti , 16 GB, 500GB SSD, LG 34UM95, Acer T232HL, TrackIR 5 Pro, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.

SLI in Windowed is touchy for every application, not just DCS.

I don't believe any game works in SLI windowed mode well. By design SLI is not supposed to be run in windowed mode from what I've read.

Depends on the application. (Some newer games run Borderless windowed fine, while.others.dont)

DCS likely needs to be full screen.
