This feature is not implemented yet in DCS World.

We'll really be happy to add it to the gazelle when it will be available.

YES!!!!!!

Was looking for this question & answer myself. Great news.

Since the HOT should be wire guided and requires constant aiming until impact, both of polychops helis are ideal as co-op birds in the future.

Good look maintaining a steady aim if I am the pilot!

Hi all,

I just wanted to ask if there are any news on that now that multicrew-multiplayer seems to be around the corner. Will it be feasible to add to the Gazelle? Obviously, there are possible sources which could prevent this, so I thought it would be worth to check.

Thanks in advance!

As we don't have the possibility for multicrewed helicopters yet, will we have with the gazelle a sort of "cheat autohover" that would simulate the pilot maintaining hover flight when we fire and guide a Hot right on that poor tank we spotted in the disatnce ?

It's not a cheat, it's a feature of the real Gazelle autopilot, and it's simulated in the module too.

Hi again,

I get the feeling my question was overlooked:

Do you have any idea if it will work and if yes, on what timescale? Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Charly

@ LeGordian:

We are not giving away anything to the community about that particular question. I am sorry.

We will announce anything if new to this as soon there is something to present.

Even if we knew some time scale it is not up to us to promote such functionality as it is a mature change ED will aquire first.

We thank you for your honest comprehension

I was wondering If you are sure multicrew can be done. That is because VEAO came to the conclusion that due to the way they build their AFM they are not able to make it multicrew (the hawk). I am not asking for release dates or anything, just wondering If you are sure it can be done without completely starting over with the AFM code. Which I would understand you not doing.

Hi, as already stated we are not giving away vital informations. Sorry.

What I can say though is, that we talked about the code change too and as it was stated, as soon it is available to us code wise, we will manage to give you multicrew cause it is possible already for the L39, so why should it not be possibile for any other?

VAEO have thier own code for the Hawk so we can not take other modules that we have not produced into count, do to the lack of the insight to the other code.

If someone says Polychop can not fly to moon, we start to prepare to fly to Mars.

Just adding my support that this is a critical feature to me and very exciting. The Gazelle seems so perfect for multicrew.

This could be the first module where coop play is really necessary for real combat effectiveness. And it's on a nice scale-- I imagine you'd feel like quite the team taking out a few tanks in a Gazelle together.

The video preview from Matt Wagner was fantastic btw-- things are really shaping up!
