The_Fragger
Just out of curiousity: should it really say LASING over the locking device and not LASNING? Locking in Swedish is Låsning. Or perhaps it is referring to something else? Corrigan
Alright, so it should clearly be LÅSNING which is the Swedish for locking. The other stuff baffles me slightly. I'm pretty sure it should be FÄLLNING since "fallning" isn't a word, but that's what it says. ARMERING is correct, but I have no idea what RECOKING should be, since that's not a word (in English) either. The_Fragger
The word "Sakrinspinne" at the Pylon, has a complete different meaning in german. When you add a "c" -> Sackringspinne, then it makes space for a mental cinema :D 2D/3D Artist MILTECH-5 /PD Lead 3D Artist - TrueGrit Virtual Technologies [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] BO-105 PAH1A1/VBH / HKP-9A / BO-105 CBS-5 KLH Eurofighter Typhoon https://www.facebook.com/PolyDynamicsDCS/ Windows 10 (x64) 3x Corsair SSD GT 250 GB Mainboard: Asus STRIX Z390-F CPU: Intel Core I9-9900K @ 3.60GHz RAM: 64 Gb Graphics: MSI GForce GTX 980 TI 4GB HOTAS Warthog Hofmann Simpad Rudders Oculus Rift / Oculus Touch Heavy Metal is the law ! :punk:
Corrigan
Since you bring it up, it should say säkringspinne. Or perhaps it is referring to something else? This is what I have: LÅSNING/LOCKING is correct FÄLLNING/RELEASE is correct SÄKRINGSPINNE/SAFETY PIN is correct ARMERING/RECOKING seems strange... ARMERING means arming which is correct but RECOKING? The only word I can think could fit is re-cocking/recocking which is when you cock a firearm a 2nd time. Don't know how that applies to a TOW though. But if that is what the plate clearly says... BravoYankee4
I second that. It is funny that there are several Swedish words that has a totally different meaning for persons in Germany (mostly of a sexual kind). I still remember my first trip to Austria when I had some funny situations with my limited German vocabulary. One thing I learned is that Öl (Swedish for beer) is some other kind of fluid in the German language ;)

borchi_2b
Öl = beer in swedish. Well for some germans beer is thier oil for living, which makes them run proper ;-) That is how the ring closes and starts to be round ;-) Just the spider and the balls are missing in that equation http://www.polychop-sims.com

Aginor
I think the gauges are in English for the same reasons some of those in the C101 are in English. They were manufactured that way by an international company and MBB just put them in the way they are because every pilot can read English anyway. BravoYankee4
Yeah... the Swedish military was pretty good in re-labeling pretty much anything. But the instruments where probably kept "as-is". My point was not to insinuate any errors - just a comment of surprise.
