I did the cold start tutorial and when it was over I decided to try my luck at taking off. My FIRST TIME too! I did it and I got up about 300ft and started moving. I was a bit wobbly and had to counter the tail rotor pretty hard.

I did my take off in 'F2' view to admire this beautiful model they made. I went to switch back to 'F1' cockpit and it would not come up at all. Bug I guess right or am I missing something here?

Anyway is there some sort of trim function like of fixed winged aircraft to keep from having to twist my stick (okay laugh it up) to hold the bird straight?

Congrats. :)

And don't worry, I started with a twist stick as well. ;)

I never tried it, but if you go into "Options > Special > UH-1H" there is a tick box for "Rudder Trimmer".

I believe it connects the rudder to the normal trimmer so you can trim this as well.

For not getting up in "F1" mode, did you check your throttle?

It needs to be on full.

Or maybe you have an axis setup error in your control settings.

System specs:

Gigabyte Aorus Master, i7 9700K@std, GTX 1080TI OC, 32 GB 3000 MHz RAM, NVMe M.2 SSD, Oculus Quest VR (2x1600x1440)

Warthog HOTAS w/150mm extension, Slaw pedals, Gametrix Jetseat, TrackIR for monitor use

I think hes talking about not seeing the cockpit. Try remapping f1 again? Or maybe you are using to much ram on your gpu and it has a hard time loading it?

Yeah it was that and the the rudder holding. Uh I'm only using 3GB of 8GB of RAM during the game play. All my settings are max. I have a 2GB GDDR5 PNY nVIDIA GTX650 Ti. My processor is a 4 x CPU 2.8GHz.
