I hope the day when my wife walks in to find my Huey parked in the parking lot of a virtual representation of the crazy horse never comes :megalol:

That is when the VR headset is more than just useful. ;)

When they release 1.5 i'll just start a random mission and stare at the pretty graphics.

With Nevada though, I want to fly a Mig-21 north over the Colorado River as fast and low as I can, fly under the bridge south of Hoover Dam and pull a Split S just before crashing into the dam. Maybe i'll drop a nuke at it just for the hell of it. We aren't getting reworked nuke effects with 1.5/2.0, are we?

load up the eagle with a single bag and no stores - unrestricted climb to 20k, 400kts on top

and look around!

and you better believe it, a high-speed pass over LV and then out to lake henderson and other areas i'm familiar with - then sure, i think a run by ("through"?heh!) hoover dam is def called for

i think i'd do that a few times actually - each at a different time of day/night

and then i think a fam flight around the range/complex is called for - ID the pertinent locations areas and airfields, and do some touch-and-goes - get used to the various elevations and rwy headings

Unrestricted climb out of Groom Lake in the MiG-21 at sunset and visually navigate to Vegas. Buzz a few unsuspecting motorists :D...and perform some touch and goes at McCarran (with full afterburner on the "go" component). Keep enjoying the scenery as long as there is fuel in the tanks (which might not be long actually).:megalol:

My thoughts exactly! Mind if I join you? I'm sure we will be able to find a fight somewhere, as well.

Cheers

The MiG-21 has such a high landing speed that you could use full afterburner on the "touch" component too.

Unfortunately, the people on the ground will just think it's all part of some casino show.

Someone should start a multiplayer server with all aircraft and just let it run for a while so we can all share our first moments :D

Sounds good! If I can get the multiplayer thing to work, haven't tried it yet.

But it sounds like Silent Gun has the right solution:

It would be great if such a thing could be arranged. That sounds like a ton of fun!

That are exactly my thoughts. Hopefully virtual aerobatics are firing up their server with NTTR asap when released...

"Well. It's worth several million dollars, but what you have to understand is that there is a very specific buyer for a piece like this, and they don't come along often. This is going to sit in my shop taking up space for a very long time. I'll give you $5,000 cash or $7,000 in trade."

Practice makes perfect.
