Problem : If i shut it down and restart it, it stopps running/booting at the moment you can read windows is starting or earlier after beeing able to enter the bios page . The only way to get the pc running again is to unplug all my flying stuff ( joystic, mfd, pedals .... ) Windows 7 Pro. 64bit Intel Core i7 5820K (LGA 2011-v3) Gigabyte Mainboard GA-X99-UD3 16 GB DDR4 PC 2133 CL9 500GB SSD Crucial Hotas Warthog Saitek Combatrudderpedal TM Cougar MFD 2 x Leo Bodnar Board I do not know what causes this problem but i need to solve it quickly ! Tryed to only plug in the Hotas and it starts up fine. Shut pc down and addet rudderpedal. Starts up fine. Shut pc down and addet mfd . Starts up fine. Shut pc down and addet Leo Bodnar boards . Boot not possible. Removed LB boards and tryed again: Boot not possible. Tryed different combinations but was not able to figure out what is the problem here : ( Hopefully someone else has a clue !? Second it looks to me as an common USB-problem. This can be possibly solved first with additional USB cards. I prefere the Transcend TS-PDU3 - important is also the powersupplyconnector http://www.transcend.de/files/Manual/Manual_PDU3_EN.pdf The Problem can be also temporary - depending alot on the USB Drivers of your devices. May be the amount of Milliampere needed for your deevices when booting is just to much . Are you aware that your Intel Core i7 5820K does not support 40 PCIe lanes? 28 PCI-E-3.0-Lanes is all it supports. Running SLI or Crossfire - you see your CPU will be the bottleneck. But to be honest - I cant believe a new system cant handle some usb-devices. Yesterday it was not even able to boot with only hotas and rudder plugged in !!! I´m realy going mad about this ... Regards, Markuscha Re-seat your RAM and any graphics/sound cards/ etc. Try resetting BIOS to default. Try updating your BIOS . BitMaster Posted September 29, 2015 Share Posted September 29, 2015 STRIP everything off u dont need for core computing, add device after device, check for different USB port vendors, ALSO update your Bios(es) all across the system, DONT forget the Harddrives as they often cause such behaviour. Use W10 as well, update all device drivers, keep older versions too, maybe ...you never know Could be tricky, stay with numbers and schemata, dont just pull things out and in again, you wont find the root cause that way. Meanwhile you're looking at your flight-gear, trying to figure it out :joystick: Only other thing I can think of is that the BIOS is set to auto overclock and it fails. Manufacture procedure and software needs to be used and followed. Like someone else said, put your flight aside for now. Get a working and tested and stress tested PC again. Then you can start slowly adding other gear to the system. TAKE A SLOW APPROACH AND TEST. This is how the techs do it. You cant just slap everything together and then slap on all kinds of extra hardware and start wondering why.
