Multiplayer host server doesn't appear to be working

There are 2 issues here:

1. I can't change the port.

I am unable to open the default port and run my private server on a different port to play with my friends and this is kinda breaking it.

2. Multiplayer doesn't work at all.

When I select a mission and hit "start" the game goes to a black screen and nothing happens.

I've left it like this for 10 minutes but the multiplayer server does not start.

For number 2, I've identified the problem to be related to the user not logged in.

Workaround:

1. Open the DCS World OpenBeta.

2. Go to the modules at the top (the new rectangle icon).

3. Log In.

4. Go back to the main menu and start the multiplayer.

It will work now, I just had this issue and now I start DCS Israel correctly after doing the above procedure.

Thanks!

Seems to be working for me.

I've also found something else that can help:

Run DCS with Admin privileges.

It sorted out the issue for someone else I was talking to.

I know it's not relevant but can we just delete the multiplayer exe from the desktop nope as it's not used?
