Same problem.

 

Using windows 7 64 bit.

 

560ti Video Card,

 

I7 3820 processor, quad core 3.6 ghz.

 

8gb ram.

 

Crashes every time I start a mission on "Loading Land Surface".

 

Just hangs and eventually get a "DCS has encountered a problem and needs to close" message.

 

Occurs with BOTH SU-25T and MiG-21. Not sure about TF-51D but I'm pretty sure it still crashes.

 

EDIT: NEVERMIND. SU-25T works. It's only the MiG-21.

Cobra, has just announced problem with Mig21 and 1.5 with it crashing. So maybe a mig 21 issue.

1. repair did not help

2. dcs_updater.exe install mig21-bis # reinstall, even on earlier installed & activate module ends in crash too

3. any mission for MiG-21 crashes , even Free Flight

Could be your issue. I get a CTD when I try to run any type of flight with the MiG-21

System :-

Mig-21 Crash to Desktop

 

Hello all! New to the forums not to DCS. I was hoping someone could take a look at this problem. I get a crash to desktop when loading anything Mig-21 related. Instant action, mission editor, missions. Su25t works just fine no problem so its something going on with just the Mig-21 I'm pretty sure. If anyone could share their input that would be much appreciated.

Get this error after updating to v1.5.1 when starting DCS World.

 

After uninstalling the module via the updater I was able to start DCS again. Sadly, after reinstalling it with the module manager the error occurs again.

 

Is there a known workaround??

Can't start DCS World. I've sent error report.

Solved my Problem with the following steps:

 

1. Uninstalled the module via updater

2. deleted MiG-21BIS folder in the mods folder (maybe this problem was caused when the hotfix was once applied, because as far as I remember, the files not deleted with the uninstall process look like the files from the hotfix, but not 100% sure)

3. reinstall MiG-21BIS Module with the updater (I guess module manager would do the job, too)
