SU-27 HUD Taxi Speed Issue

Some aircraft don't show speeds below certain values. This may be a correction to the Su-27 HUD.

Don't forget that calibrating your systems pressure setting to the airfield QFE affects the displayed IAS, particularly at very low speeds typical of taxiing, in addition to affecting the readings provided by the barometric altimeter.

 

Edited to add: OK, it seems that the ground speed is pegged at a minimum of 80Km/h. I guess that this has been changed to be realistic, as the aircraft is probably measuring taxi speed with the pitot tube which probably can't read beneath that speed.
