04.06.04 User-made snap views for all his missions are saved in the Config/View/SnapViews.lua file if the parameter DisableSnapViewsSaving = true in the Config/View/Cockpit.lua file. Default snap views come from the Config/View/SnapViewsDefault.lua file. The first index in the Snap table stands for the plane type (see the PlaneIndex table in the Config/View/View.lua file, please). The second index denotes Keypad 0-9 key + 1.

04.08.04 Added save of Cameras state in the track.

04.08.04 Views control options (including custom snap views) are saved inside the track file and will be applied for playing the track. There are no need in *.xml files for saving custom track snap views. User local options will be applied for old tracks.

Success :) You can also try simple LuaSocket examples listener.lua and talker.lua in the Scripts/LuaSocket folder to understand simple LuaSocket communication technology. The Lua.exe file is Lua 5.02 standalone interpreter. Launch Lua.exe and type: dofile("listener.lua"). Launch another Lua.exe and type: dofile("talker.lua"). Follow console instructions to make send/receive TCP/IP communication. Then try to use listener.lua to communicate with Lock On the same way. Then you can use any LuaSocket or non-LuaSocket program to communicate with Lock On via your favourite network protocol supported by LuaSocket library (TCP, UDP, etc.).

04.16.04 Changed 'GSUP'/'GSDN' F-15C HUD symbols logic. According to F-15 Flight Manual it is glideslope position indicators.

А ещё, кроме прямого содержания, этот интереснейший документ проливает свет на график работы ED 8)

 

Итак… 30 декабря – последний рабочий день в 2003 году. Смотрим далее, ага! Начали работать 12 января 2004 – понятно, Рождественские каникулы… Потом 13 отдых – старый новый год…

Ну там выходные конечно вычитаем - суббота и воскресенье, 23 февраля и 8 марта – всё как у людей.

 

Так что ожидается перерывчик в баг-фиксинге: есть такая российская особенность – «Maiskie prazdniki». Потом неделя на тестинг…

 

Так что ждём патч не ранее 17 мая :lol:

30 марта - нашли баг

31 марта - вроде исправили

31 марта вечер - нифига, он ещё жив

32 марта - кто-то выдвинул идею, что это не баг, а фича и была она прописана ещё в первой версии дизайн-документа...

32 марта вечер - тот, кто говорил про дизайн-документ напомнил нам что в марте 31 день, чуть его не убили...

Хочу заметить, что в этом списке не только баги и ошибки, но и внушительное число фич и модернизаций.

Кроме этого некоторое количество минорных багов не попало в список.

Don´t know if this is a bug but... couldn´t find the issue in the list. This is what happens offline.

 

* flying a Su-27

 

* engaging an ai F15 headon on the same altitude

 

* you have long range R27RE, TE

 

* you don´t get LA or a lockon until several seconds after he has fired his medium range AIM120

Well... Pilot is what matters the most. I went against F-15 online in my MiG-29S and currently they SUCK big time... getting owned everywhere... Of cause I might have been up against newbees, but it was my first fight online, so...

I´m making some tests here offline with different alts against an excellent F-15 in my Su-27. We are both at 3000m altitude and headon.

 

He can lock me up at 100km!!!

 

I can detect him at 80km!

 

I can lock him up and launch between 35-40km (R27RE).

 

I get the first shot now, as I should, but before I reinstalled LO I got very different results (also 1.01). As stated in my post above he got the first launch despite my RE´s. I reproduced it at least ten times at 5000m, 7000m, 10000m etc. Only difference before was that LO was installed on another partition... strange. I will continue testing and post the results.

Like i said, the devs crippled the flanker to please americans. The russian radar is not that weak like the devs have written in the upcoming patch's code.

Radar lock of 85% from detection range? I wanna know where the devs are getting such reliable information. And don't come up with that BULLSHIT to make the game balanced. DING DING COME BACK TO REALITY YOU FOOLS, BECAUSE THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BALANCED WHEN ONE SIDE BUILDS A PLANE TO BE SUPERIOR TO THE OTHER SIDE'S PLANE. WAY TO RUIN YOUR OWN GAME!

About "reduced radar lock" - it were increased actually, from 0.60 to 0.85 of maximum radar range. ED used a wrong phrase when described this fix.

 

No R-77 for Su-27? No Zhuk radar? Quit crippling the ruskies.
All standard Su-27 can not use R-77 and they are not equipped with Zhuk (H-010M) radar. This radar is installed on Su-33,Su-27CUB

About "reduced radar lock" - it were increased actually, from 0.60 to 0.85 of maximum radar range. ED used a wrong phrase when described this fix.

No R-77 for Su-27? No Zhuk radar? Quit crippling the ruskies.
All standard Su-27 can not use R-77 and they are not equipped with Zhuk (H-010M) radar. This radar is installed on Su-33,Su-27CUB

 

You should have quoted the whole post which i said T I M E F R A M E. ED gave us a plane from 1984, not from mid 90's.

Quickshot chill out. Flaming is unacceptable on these forums IMHO. Developers are working their heads through the bone to give us most realistic sim possible. Even if they do make things unrealistic to increase sales (I don't think so thou), they have their right to do so. Addon will be released later and it is promised that it will have most realistic FM and Avionics ever moddelled in a sim.

Furthermore, If you feel that now Russian planes are weak, perhaps problem is not the planes but you. I fid MiG to be most superior plane in the game. Yes, Eagle can lock me down much further away, but with right tactics and right flying I can make other pilot ride the silk to the ground. And it will not happen after the patch anymopre, cause he wont be able to eject (in some cases) :D

Read all the posts and you'll get the picture:

"Radar lock on russian radar reduced to 0.85 of radar detection" later explained right here it was a typo by the devs, and it was in fact increased.

And no, i am no newbie, have played Flanker 2.51 for almost 1 year and avoiding missiles wasn't a big issue for me, let alone avoiding missiles in lo-mac. I can be unbeatable if i want to.

And yes, i do know tactics, been playing sims for too long.
