WhiskeyRomeo
I read a similar 7950 GX2 article @ http://anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2769&p=1 It's more of a 2 GPU solution for motherboards with only a single PCI-E x16 slot. Because of potential BIOS issues and the PCIe switch embedded on the 7950 GX2 it's not being supported for Quad GPU applications (except possibly through some system builders who can do fancy stuff to motherboards and BIOS). Thats not to say its impossible to get a Quad solution with 7950 GX2s. The AnandTech article covers the Quad aspect details and issues. Even so - the card has a pretty impressive performance potential.
WhiskeyRomeo
http://www.Guru3d.com reviewed and tested the 7950 GX2. Including an attempt to get 2x 7950 GX2s to run in Quad. http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/353/15/ One article says one Quad issue will be enabling support in NVidia Forceware drivers.
