cdrkrotchetyusn
My cockpit lighting is as depicted, for both the A-10A, and the A-7E Corsair mod. Hitting L, whether day, night, or on NVGs, creates this unusual and unreadable cockpit. Quite distracting. I tried multiple graphics settings. I have the latest Nvidia drivers for my GTX870M, but I am running WIN10 (Dang the bad decision making to take the free upgrade...) Blaze
Try turning down the gain of the NVG. bear.is.flying
Turn off your cockpit lights if you're using NVGs, don't need 'em. Intel Core i7-8700K @ 5.0 GHz // Nvidia GTX 1080Ti // 32 GB DDR4 RAM // 1 TB SSD
cdrkrotchetyusn
Blinding Instrument Panel Well, actually, yes you do need instruments to fly effectively and safely at night with NVGs. The blazing bezels are there regardless of NVG usage or not. I often turn them on during the day to alleviate glare so I can accurately fly the Case 1 pattern at the boat in the A-7, and land on the carrier. Flying the Case 3 approach and landing from the marshal stack, it's absolutely imperative to have visible barometric instruments, but not as necessary to have NVGs. FYI, Naval Aviators do not typically land on the aircraft carrier with big heavy NVGs attached to their noggins...
cdrkrotchetyusn
Besides, this started happening only with the advent of 1.5. So there's a glitch somewhere, and deserves resolution...

Blaze
Ok, that's a different story. I'd try a repair on DCS World first. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Blaze
Yeah, all is good on my end in 1.5. Are you running any mods for the A-10A? I noticed mine doesn't have NVGs... i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. cdrkrotchetyusn
My screenshot is the A-10A cockpit, but in the A-7E Corsair, enroute to daytime carrier landing aboard the USS GEORGE W BUSH CVN77.
