There was an older post for midair refuelling and the author said to engage speed hold. Is it called something else? It will stabilize your speed and your throttle control will become ineffective during that mode) (and this is where a temporary autopilot bypass is great for adjusting the speed with tiny corrections without completely disconnecting the AP ;) ) >>> related <<< It's the "авт тяги" button on the autopilot panel (left console) (not animated in the sim).
