klem
I had 1.2.latest and worked as a backup, than have a previous copy upped to DCS OpenBeta 1.5.1.46722.87 which is 'stable' and is the present game play when there's a new hotfix released I am not going to upgrade my now stable tested 1.5.1.46722.87 but a backup, this created 1.5.1.47025.99 not stable, only can be played in MP so this latest version 1.5.1.47025.99 will just be sitting there till a hotfix arrives that would create a 'stable latest' etc thats why having all these updates seperated by profile - which is the clever trick behind this -, safeguards against problems with incompattible bindiings upgrades Thus, I never put a latest stable and playable version at risk, what I see mention of many people do OK that makes sense. Unfortunately I don't think I can roll back the latest two updates. klem 56 RAF 'Firebirds' ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F mobo, i7 8086A @ 5.0 GHz with Corsair H115i watercooling, Gigabyte 2080Ti GAMING OC 11Gb GPU , 32Gb DDR4 RAM, 500Gb and 256Gb SSD SATA III 6Gb/s + 2TB , Pimax 8k Plus VR, TM Warthog Throttle, TM F18 Grip on Virpil WarBRD base, Windows 10 Home 64bit
klem
Tried again with Preset to Low then turning everything possible to Off or None and loading offline mission. Thud20
Same issue here with triple monitor setup. Glad it isn't just me. I'll go back to 1.2 until someone figures this out or try single monitor. This is well known and further crash logs won't help? I can try to link mine if need be. Also, do we know if it's EVERYONE with a triple monitor system or just a certain configuration of hardware? I started a thread on r/hoggit asking that question. Well, as majapahit pointed out, you don't need to go back to 1.2, just back to 1.5.1.46722 using the method in his link: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 1. Open the Command Prompt window, the easiest method being: In Windows Explorer, Navigate to the Main DCS Folder, Hold Down Left Shift, and Right Click on the /Bin Folder and Choose Open Command Prompt Here 2. Updating or Reverting DCS World to the latest build of a Specific Version: in the Command Prompt Window Type: DCS_Updater.exe update 1.5.1.46722 Hit Enter The DCS Updater will run in its usual way and roll you back to 1.5.1.46722. it really is that easy. klem 56 RAF 'Firebirds' ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F mobo, i7 8086A @ 5.0 GHz with Corsair H115i watercooling, Gigabyte 2080Ti GAMING OC 11Gb GPU , 32Gb DDR4 RAM, 500Gb and 256Gb SSD SATA III 6Gb/s + 2TB , Pimax 8k Plus VR, TM Warthog Throttle, TM F18 Grip on Virpil WarBRD base, Windows 10 Home 64bit

klem
Well, I lied. After rolling back to 1.5.1.46722 offline worked ok. However in Multiplayer no servers are listed. JetBLASTER
Need more help please. With the last update on DCS 1.5 the game keep crash. I uninstall DCS 1.5 and DCS 1.26 ( thinking they are corrupted ). Download all the lot again . When I open the DCS 1.5 for the first time the screen don't show any option button .Looks like the 3 monitors overlap one on top the other on a mini screen. Need to know if I have any chance to use the option on DCS root folders to change the full screen setup. Thanks in advance for any help. I just cleared some space on one of my HDDs, copied 1.5.1.46722 across and updated that to 1.5.1.47025.99 and that version can see the servers. So I can now run "3screen" offline in one version and "3Screen" online in the other. Or 1.2 in another. Oh Mother! Hind
Hello, cince the last update (a view weeks before there was no problem) the public beta crashes to the desktop. My configuration is: Windows 7, nVidia GTX680 / latest driver, 3 Monitors with 2560*1440 each. Like in 1.2 necessary is Monitor 1 on the left side. If I use it as an 3 Monitor configuration with a resolution 7680*1440 and I try to fly a mission DCS World crashes back to the windows desktop after the first "time bar" reaches the right end. If I use only one Monitor with 2560*1440, everything is fine. If I use the complete monitor setup as 1 Monitor with resolution 7680*1440 it works well. But that is just a poor workaround, because every menue is oriented to the left and the right side of this complete monitor setup. With an 3 monitor setup, I have all menues at the center Monitor. It is possible to handle that by using the menues in DCS World, but in flight it is not acceptable to have all menues like comunikation menues 1m on the right side. I hope you can pay some Atention on this Problem by the further development of DCS World 1.5 / 2.0 Kind Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Eine Mahnung an mich und Andere, und für alle Foren: Sei respektvoll zu anderen. Macro
KLEM! :) THANK YOU! :) I was little concerned with the warnings about mucking with command prompt stuff, but it really was as easy as your short description. To anyone reading this who like me was unsure, give it a go its not hard at all and works!! back into rift land!!!! :) cant wait until they really have this VR thing working at super high res, its already very good and will be simply mind bending when its finished! Dachs
Another crash here, happens when i try to start a mission, just when the loading bar is almost finished. Running 3 screen eyefinity with a 4th monitor placed to the right (not physically, but in windows driver) Eyefinity res. with bezel compensation 5912x1080 4th monitor 1920x1080 Combined res. 7832x1080 I also tried disabling the 4th monitor and running "3 screen" with pure eyefinity 5912x1080, but still no luck. Strange if it's a monitor setup issue, as it was running perfectly before the latest update. Also the default "3 screen" profile won't run anymore now. After updating to 1.5.1.47285 this is now resolved, well, it is for me at least :) Edited November 23, 2015 by Dachs System: Asus z270 A Prime, Intel i7-7700K 4.8GHz, 32GB DDR4, RTX2080, Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD.
