[REPORTED]AI stuck on runway after landing

Recommended Posts

Open Beta version: 1.5.1.47025

This is a funny little bug that I've only noticed in the F-15C and Su-27 so far (F-86, Su-25T, C-101 all worked fine).

If you are the lead aircraft and the AI lands shortly after you while you are still on the runway, he comes to a complete stop and doesn't move.

The funny little thing is if you turn off the electric power on your own plane, he'll start moving again.

The wingman stays on the runway after land

Tested the 2.5.0.14138.317 with fourship Su-27 group

If wingman land at first try in pair with player (very rare)

OR land at second try alone, in both cases

it refuses to leave the runway.

(inherited behaviour from 1.5)

3rd and 4th continue to RTB to the occupied runway and one of the two wingman highly likely to collide with the halted 2nd.

The infinite RTB message also not fixed.

(there was cases -in older 2.5;Krymsk- if I rolled out again to the runway/I asked permission for take-off/and I took-off: 2nd started moving)

workaround

Groomlake accident workaround: after wingman landed turn off electronics for a second,

then wingman start rolling, leave the runway and then taxi to the parking area.

Otherwise ATC let inbound Su-24s to land into my wingman.

(2.5.0.15365.345 Nevada - FC3/Su-27 Takeoff practice mission)

EDIT:

+and then I found this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=152601 "AI stuck on runway after landing" NOV-15-2015 F-15C&Su-27

+Su-33 AI is also affected

F15s are still stopping on the runway. Is this a planned fixed? It was always rather nice when they taxied in with you after a successful single player mission.

I had the issue that 2 AI Mig21 tried to land.

The first landed and was taxiing back on the runway, the second did not wait and landed shortly after the first.

Both could have stopped easily but they bumped into each other at slow speeds, resulting in tears and flames!
