Anatoli-Kagari9
1.5 and previous versions have always been smooth as silk in my system, but the latest patch, starting with the speed of the installer, is a "nightmare". While I can see from 60+ to 130+ FPS, sometimes 30+, with or without VSync enables I get stutters everywhere. BitMaster
actually I had the same 1st impression but then it crashed mega hard on me with a buzz sound so I had to reboot and joined another server, a well known big one, and it went smooth with the same fps roughly as before. 112fps in the Mi8 in combat aint bad but I had 45-55 fps in the Ka on my 1st server, than 85+ on my 2nd attempt. Still makes me think what fluctuates fps thatmuch anyway, I got a bunch of hardcore crashes LoL buzz sounds and what not else... Still, 1.5 is AMAZING :) !!!! DTWD
I just came on here to say the same thing. I played last weekend and, apart from the odd stutter, it was really smooth. Updated, playing the same training mission (my own basic creation to learn the f-86) and it's getting a lot of stutter. Feels very different. tovivan
Having major problems with micro-stutters a minute or two into flying. With the rCtrl+Pause turned on I can see my FPS switching continuously from certain/real/realistic FPS number to half that and back again and so on within less than a second and that goes on for the entire playtime. If anybody ever flew IL-2: Cliffs of Dover they will know what I'm talking about. It's flyable, but not pleasant and definitely doesn't help with air-refueling or landing on carrier. Tomred
The same issue here: - FPS jumps from 47 to 27 back and forth (only partially settles down when in the same area for long time) - Stuttering in synch with the above jumps (very unpleasant) - Happens only in Su-25T cockpit view (TP-51, Ka-50 and external views don't have this issue) Tested with DCS World 1.5 latest build on HDD and SSD. With a page file and without one. Dell Precision M6600: i7-2720 QM@2.2 GHz TURBO 3.3 GHz, 16 GB RAM, ATI M8900/2 GB VRAM

secret1962
Still stutters and uses 6 gb of ram (The thing is probably connected... the game is unplayable for 8 gb users..) This is not acceptable anymore since it's out of open beta. The game takes like 10 minutes to quit off (it occupies ram everywhere and probably fills the disk too) and the entire pc is laggy. 1.5.2 latest update (1.2 to 1.5)
