I have a problem.

Game crashes every time i tried to start mission with mig with your textures. After backuping to old texture, game starts OK.

Problem solved after re-downloading archive from DCS site.

Great job, Flanker, thank you!

Great job, Flanker, thank you!

Thank you! It was probably only a corrupted file...

Today (6 Jan) I could probably upload a final version with the use of custom cockpit texture, so you do not have to substitute the original files.

OK, I finally updated the original file by including only the Russian version and I then uploaded the English version. The ZIP went from almost 90Mb to just over 50Mb.

English version: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1703560/

I washed your windshield, Sir! Seriously, I have no way to prove it, because I don't have the Mi-8 (although it deserves to be bought!)... hope it works.

I use Photoshop with NVIDIA DDS plug-in (https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop) , but you can use also GIMP with this plugin: http://registry.gimp.org/node/70.

Thank you very much! Unfortunately, I have no way to prove it too, because in your attachment only half of file.

LOL, and the answer was... the texture is corrupted! :)

Sorry, but mine works perfectly, have you tried to download it again?

With which application do you opened the file? Becouse both of the textures seems so different from mine...

I use standard picture viewer of Windows. It was downloaded again, but still no effect. I can see only one half of the texture.

Hello Flanker,

My DCS is v1.5.2 and I installed your cockpit here:

C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MIG-21bis\Liveries\Mig-21_CP\custom

After I've choose "Avionic Language: Native"

And I choose "Custom Cockpit Livery"

But impossible to have your cockpit when I'm into my Mig-21, it's always the original cockpit from LN.

I join you few screenshots from my installation:

Here the path where I've installed your cockpit:

And of course I've download your cockpit from this adress: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1681093/

Please do hou have any information why it's impossible for me to use your cockpit ?

In advance a great thanks, Skull.

Hello there! Flankers work inspired me to repaint the annunciator panel lights to maybe better match the real thing..I am trying my best so any advice is welcome, especially regarding the color shade of the green ones...which of the two variants look more like in real life?

Thank you Flanker for the original mod!

@muffler: Ah! Really don't know why! If it can be of use, I saved the texture in DXT5 format (ARGB 8 bpp, interpolated alpha).

I've re-exported the DDS file, can you try it again? (It's in the original post >here<)

@Skulleader: eh eh, you have to extract the files from the archive... (remember? "copy all the files in the ZIP archive") ;)

@cro_mig_21: I like it sooo much!!! They seems realy close to the real panels! My congratulations!!

Can I add them to my cockpit? Of course, credits goes to you!

In the maintime, I've mixed the Russian with the English cockpit because on the web site ED don't activete yet the other file...
