Making a new cockpit texture

Hello,

I have a question for Flanker, I've download your 2 files:

"MiG-21bis_clean_cockpit_EN"

And

"MiG-21bis_clean_cockpit_RU"

But I would like to know if it's possible to install these 2 folders is the same directory in this path:

C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MIG-21bis\Liveries\Mig-21_CP\custom

Or if I must choose one of these two folders (Russian or English) and installed inside the custom folder ?

Unfortunately, the MiG-21bis currently allows only one custom texture. So, if you want, you can mix the files in the two archives (same name, same file, so overwriting them don't cause any problem). But you must choose which "description.lua" you want to use.

Console Light Bug. :'(

Mhmm... missing textures? Strange, I will investigate and let you know!

Thank You, the lights are really beautiful and texts sharp.

But when lights are off I prefer those of LS. Please, see screens: left the original, on the right your lights (that gray is surreal).

antonio.

It's not "surreal", it's simply "real"... check out the photos by muffler in that discussion:

@ThorBrasil: bug fixed, thanks for reporting! That was a mistake in the .lua file... sorry!

I've also updated the annunciator lights text with the English flight manual informations like foxbat155.

:D Thank You! :D

Hi, yes I use Photoshop CC 2015 and the Nvidia plugin. You can use also PaintNet and I think (not 100% sure) the support for this format is native.

I save the file with alpha channel in DXT5 format and the file without alpha in DTX1.

Hello guys,

I would like to know if this Mod work with v1.5.3 ?

All these textures are here: \Mods\aircraft\MiG-21bis\Liveries\Mig-21_CP\custom\

After "Special" > "MiG-21bis" is "custom cockpit liverie" option.

And "Options" > "General settings" > "Gameplay" > "Avionics language"

But impossible to watch the clear cockpit, one idea ?

In advance a great thanks, Skull.

Every time the game updates. He deletes the description.lua file. Every time the game updates you have to install the mod again.

The description.lua file is in X:\\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\MIG-21bis\Liveries\Mig-21_CP\custom
