There are Heaps of models of Sherman tanks, from the M4/through to the M4A2E3, if i am not mistaken. Heres a pic of M4A1 76mm

Voted Panther, because german and it was way more common than the Tiger. It also looks way better :D

Would vote 2nd for Sherman if I could, because of ... well, obvious reasons.

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Voted Panther. In my opinion the best medium tank of the war... and it looks the part.

Sherman M4A3E8 (76)W HVSS please :3

Hmm.... I like the sherman..... but I just dont have a hard on for it like the king tiger and panther. But that being said I where to develop it would probably be a Panther in conjunction with a sherman m4a2 76mm.

The hellcat is a sexy beast though.

Well Tiger II happens to be my all time favourite tank so it wasn't really question for me, but to be honest i would be happy to see any of those tanks in poll properly modelled.

The one that doesn't break down reversing out the car park?:)

No, the one that would not burn after single shot

ouch I think I just got burned

:megalol:

But as i said, i would be glad to have any of those tanks in game and, of course it would be silly to model tank for one side only so...

Maybe it would be better to have own polls for both sides.

Its hard to vote for anything else when there is the Tiger II on that list, its such an elegantly brutal design (even if historical relevance to Normandy is close to nil). Although I would be very happy with something fraction of a size, like a Puma (oh boy that would be something fun!) or a clunky but dependable Pz IV, or a Cromwell... I suppose because its somewhere between a Pz IV and a Puma.

All joking aside it we be nice to have an approach where the main adversaries are released at the same time, Like ospreys Duel series of books

Yeah, I really have no clue about Japanese armor or how much it was even used.

When they were buried in the ground they made decent pillboxes against the Marines.

The only Japanese tanks used at Iwo Jima and Okinawa were the Type 95 Ha-Go and Type 97 Chi-Ha. Since the Corsair was used heavily for ground attack I expect we will see at least one of these, and making an existing ground unit driveable with CA is trivial, so hopefully that is included from the start.
