mr_mojo97 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 (edited) As above, I'm trying to install through Module manager and it begins to start but quickly get a window with this error message. Any ideas? Thanks ps I'm using DCS 2.0 (as it says it's available for when I bought it) Edited December 26, 2015 by mr_mojo97 MSI M5 z270 | Intel i5 7600k (OC) 4.8GHz | MSI GTX1080ti Gaming X 11Gb | 500gb Samsung 970 Evo NVME M.2 (DCS World) | 500gb Samsung 850 Evo SSD (OS and Apps) | 32Gb 2400MHz DDR4 - Crucial Ballistix | Be Quiet Silent Loop 240mm | NZXT H440 case | Thrustmaster Warthog - 47608 with Virpil Mongoose joystick base | MFG Crosswinds - 1241 | Westland Lynx collective with Bodnar X board | Pilot's seat from ZH832 Merlin | JetSeat | Oculus Rift S | Windows 10 | VA |
Para_Bellum Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 What version of DCS world are you using? 1.5 or 2.0? Did you fully patch DCS before trying to install the module?
mr_mojo97 Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 (edited) 2.0 seems up to date - there is no updater for 2.0 that i can see. But I have seen pics with the Mirage in nevada so it must work somehow Edited December 26, 2015 by mr_mojo97 MSI M5 z270 | Intel i5 7600k (OC) 4.8GHz | MSI GTX1080ti Gaming X 11Gb | 500gb Samsung 970 Evo NVME M.2 (DCS World) | 500gb Samsung 850 Evo SSD (OS and Apps) | 32Gb 2400MHz DDR4 - Crucial Ballistix | Be Quiet Silent Loop 240mm | NZXT H440 case | Thrustmaster Warthog - 47608 with Virpil Mongoose joystick base | MFG Crosswinds - 1241 | Westland Lynx collective with Bodnar X board | Pilot's seat from ZH832 Merlin | JetSeat | Oculus Rift S | Windows 10 | VA |
Para_Bellum Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 There's been a patch for 2.0 last night, about a GB for me. 1.) to make sure you're on the lastest version run the updater (start-eagle dynamics-> open alpha-> update 2.) if it still doesn't work use the repair function (start-> eagle dynamics->open alpha ->repair
mr_mojo97 Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 ok, it didnt update automatically this morning, I just rebooted and I've got a big update. Hopefully this should sort it. mr_mojo97 Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 Actually Para, there isn't an OpenAlpha repair button in my Start - Eagle Dynamics. Is there supposed to be one? Para_Bellum Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Yeah, there should be repair shortcut in the eagle dynamics/open alpha start menu, I just checked.
