Damage Model - Airbreak

I did a couple of test fights in DCS 1.5 in the Mirage against a Mig 23 loaded with R60 and R24. In one encounter i was damaged by one missile of the mig, managed to shoot him down and was heading to my airfield. I was a little to fast so i extended my airbreaks. The Mirage had many small holes mainly in the right wing, that is - i guess - the cause why the airbreak was only lowered at the left wing. So far every thing as expected. But now the nose of the Mirage was not moving to the left - where the lowered airbreak was and what i was expecting because of the drag of the left wing with the lowered airbreak - but to the right side, the side with the damaged wing but without a lowered airbreak. It had a constant side slip to the right. After retracting the airbreak the aircraft was flying straight again, lowering the left airbreak was causing a side slip to the right again.

 

Is there something i'm getting wrong in my head or is this a bug? I hope you get my point althought my english is not very good. I saved the track but it is not showing what was happening. :(

Oh, that's an interesting one :)

 

Did you by chance remember what was doing the rudder? Deflected or not?

(the FBW has a built-in mechanism that tries to cancel any slip)

Sorry, i didn't watch the rudder. But i think(not know for sure) it wasn't moving.
